Welcome to Greece! On your arrival at Athens airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Athens. The rest of the day is yours to either relax, or start exploring this fascinating city on your own. Overnight in Athens.

ATHENS
After breakfast, begin your half day Athens tour past the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Hadrian’s Arc, Temple of Olympian Zeus, and many other notable sites throughout the city. A trip to Athens won’t be complete without visiting the Acropolis. There you will have the chance to pass through the Propylaea, admire the Erechtheum, and the Caryatids, while watching the city spreading in front of your feet. Soon afterwards, the tour will bring you to the Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896. And then you will see many government buildings, the Presidential Palace and elegant houses built on streets half covered by sour orange trees. Upon completion of this tour, you will be transferred back to your hotel for the remainder of your day at leisure. Overnight in Athens. (B)

ATHENS I HYDRA I POROSVAEGINA ISLANDS I ATHENS
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Piraeus port to embark on your full day cruise to the islands nearby! Your first stop will be in Hydra, a small but beautiful island steeped in history and a popular destination that’s not far from the Greek mainland. Second stop will be in Poros, an island of peace, romance, and relaxation. Your final stop before returning to Athens will be in Aegina, the land of the legendary Achilles. Upon completion of this cruise, you will be transferred back to your hotel. Overnight in Athens. (B,L)
